All the games coming to Xbox this week

Over the weekend, Xbox revealed the games that are coming to Xbox One, Series X/S, Windows PC, and Game Pass.

PWe previously covered the games coming to Xbox Game Pass exclusively this month – this reveal is for new releases coming to MIcrosoft’s gaming platforms.

Below we have listed the games that will drop this week.

Cursed Island – 5 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

Cursed Island is a single-player game that follows the struggle of a character attempting to leave a mysterious island overflowing with horrors and monsters.

The title uses nostalgic pixel-art graphics with slower-paced gameplay focused on exploration, mining, and fighting monsters.

 Rush Rally Origins – 5 July

Platforms: Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC

A realistic top-down rallying game with top-notch graphics, Rush Rally origins combines gameplay elements from the original game in the series with the visuals from Rush Rally 3 to deliver an enhanced experience.

You will be able to take on 36 new stages worldwide with varying time and weather options and a wide array of track surfaces, such as snow, gravel, dirt and mud.

Notably, the game supports up to 120fps and a global online leaderboard.

 Overrogue – 6 July

Platforms: Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC

Overrogue is a deck-building roguelite set in the underworld where a battle has been announced to determine the next Overlord.

Players will compete to become Overlord by proceeding through dungeon-like labyrinths while using an expanding number of cards to create interesting and powerful combos.

Each time you visit a labyrinth, you will have a different deck experience.

Quintus and the Absent Truth – 6 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

In Quintus and the Absent Truth, players will take control of a man and his mouse in a first-person horror adventure.

The man is named Alan Shaw, who will be aided by the titular Quintus, a mouse, as they search for Shaw’s missing daughter.

The game is a horror-themed adventure that requires you to solve puzzles by using Shaw and Quintus together.

MADiSON – 7 July

Platforms: Xbox Series X/S

Madison is an immersive first-person psychological horror game that offers disturbing gameplay and an unsettling and compelling narrative.

The player will have to solve puzzles, explore and survive as they are haunted by MADiSON – the ghost of a murderer forcing you to continue a gory ritual started decades ago.

The game also promises that it’s not just MADiSON the player will have to worry about as they try to survive and solve puzzles.

Matchpoint: Tennis Championships – 7 July

Platforms: Xbox One, Series X/S, PC, and Game Pass

Matchpoint: Tennis Championships will be available on day one with Game Pass and will have players compete to become the world’s next tennis champion.

The game promises a modern take on tennis with a true-to-life on-court experience, deep career mode, and unique rivalry system.

You will be able to create your tennis star, and it also supports local and online multiplayer.

 QUByte Classics – Zero Tolerance by Piko – 7 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

Zero Tolerance is an old-school arena shooter that allows players to fight aliens with guns, grenades, and lasers.

The player will choose from five elite characters at the beginning of the game – each with their own unique skill sets – and will change these characters to suit their playstyle.

The game has three game modes to play.

Adventure of Chris – 8 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

Adventure of Chris is a 90’s-inspired adventure platform where players will help a chubby underdog kid with wacky superpowers battle strange villains, unlock new moves and spells, and save the world.

The player can customise Chris’s available abilities and spells, such as throwing fireballs, conjuring lightning or bouncing around like a basketball.

The will allows players to explore 9 locations worldwide while experiencing a sinister story in a quirky, cartoon-like universe.

 Crypt of the Serpent King Remastered 4K Edition – 8 July

Platforms: Xbox Series X/S

Crypt of the Serpent King Remastered features a mix of first-person adventuring and roguelike gameplay.

Players will delve into a dark world of malice and peril as they engage in first-person hack ‘n’ slash, dungeon crawler gameplay.

You will fight all manner of monsters in the dungeons and can customise the experience with three difficulty levels and by levelling up your character.

Eternal Hope – 8 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

Eternal Hope follows the story of Ti’bi as he sets out on an unusual journey to restore the life of his dead girlfriend by freeing her soul from the Shadow World.

The player will be able to use Ti’bi’s unique ability to shift between dimensions to solve puzzles and meet strange beings.

You will uncover dark and ancient secrets not meant for mortal eyes during your journey.


Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series – 8 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is a side-scrolling action series whose first game was released in 1997. It is set in a a unique world with a range of interesting characters.

As part of its 25th anniversary, the Reverie Series will release a combination of remastered versions of the original games in one package.

The core gameplay has not been changed beyond the inclusion of difficulty settings.


Strong Moon – 8 July

Platforms: Xbox One and Series X/S

Strong Moon is an action and adventure title inspired by 90’s cartoons where players will take command of Strong Moon on his quest to find his brother.

His brother was kidnapped by a deranged magician, and players will have to explore Lunaria’s planet and become stronger with the help of allies to achieve this goal.
