SteamDB has updated its list of the top ten grossing games for last week.
Given the start of the Steam Summer Sale, you can expect several new additions to this list.
Along with several new releases, a few titles from last week also made the list.
Below are the top ten highest-grossing games on Steam from last week.
10. F1 22
The official Formula 1 game of 2022 for EA Sports F1 22 released on 1 July and allows you to take part in a new season of racing with redesigned cars and overhauled rules redefining race day.
This includes a new Miami International Autodrome track, 20 drivers, 10 teams and an immersive experience of creating a racing team.
F1 22 has a Mixed user review score on Steam.
9. Rust
Rust maintains its ninth-place spot in the top ten, no doubt due to the Steam Summer sale.
In Rust, your only goal is to survive daily through crafting and exploration.
Rust has a Mostly Positive recent and Very Positive overall user review on Steam.
8. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands also holds its eighth-place spot in the top ten.
However, it is not the only version of the game in the top ten this week, and this version is likely to drop down this list next week.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a Mostly Positive user review score on Steam.
7. Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Rise has become a regular in the top ten since the hype surrounding Sunbreak reached its height.
Sunbreak was released last week so seeing Rise is still on this list is not shocking. It will be interesting to see if the game remains on the list next week.
Monster Hunter Rise has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.
6. F1 22
F1 22 also holds the sixth spot on this list because it has two different purchasing options.
Due to the way Steam records sales, these two versions are listed separately, so it’s uncertain which – the regular or Champions edition – holds the sixth spot and which holds the tenth.
F1 22 has a Mixed user review on Steam.
5. DNF Duel
DNF Duel was released last week on 27 June and is an anime, arcade-style 2D fighter.
Players can take part in epic battles between characters from the world of Arad and the Dungeoisand Fighter franchise.
DNF Duel holds a Mostly Positive user review on Steam.
4. Raft
Raft is another title from last week that retained its position in the top ten.
In Raft, players will have to survive being stranded at sea by building their raft, gathering food, and fending off the local wildlife.
Raft has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.
3. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released last week, and in this case, the version holding the third spot is clear to see, as the base game and expansion have separate Steam pages.
Given the hype surrounding Sunbreak and the popularity of the Monster Hunter series, it is unsurprising that the game holds multiple positions on this top ten.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has a Mixed user review score on Steam.
2. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Package
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak package, a bundle with both the base game and the expansion, holds the second-place spot on this list.
It is a rare occasion that a single game has occupied three spots in the top ten.
It will be interesting to see how many spots it holds come next week.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has a Mixed user review score, and Monster Hunter Rise has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.
1. Steam Deck
As per the norm, the Steam Deck is the first spot holder on this list.
Even with the Summer Sale and new releases, Valve’s portable Gaming PC remains untouched for several weeks running.
The Steam Deck is currently unavailable in South Africa.
