Supermassive Games has released a story trailer for the season finale game of their Dark Pictures Anthology.
The Dark Pictures Anthology is a series of interactive horror games that began with Man of Medan in 2019 and was followed by Little Hope in 2020, and House of Ashes in 2021.
These three games will be concluded with the season 1 finale game titled The Devil in Me, which is set to release later this year.
The fourth game will take place in a dark hotel and centre around a documentary crew getting a call from a mysterious rich man who invites them to said hotel.
As expected, the hotel is filled with traps and dangers and will undoubtedly demand careful decision-making from the player.
Notably, the hotel is stated in-game to be a replica of the hotel H.H. Holmes built – which is curious since Holmes was a real serial killer from 1890s Chicago, and did have a building he used to kill people.
We also know that Academy Award-nominated actress Jesse Buckley will be joining the cast for the season finale game.
The Devil in Me will release on PS4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
