Hogwarts Legacy release date leaked

1 August 2022

Hogwarts Legacy is still slated to be released at the end of this year, but thus far, we have not received any official confirmation of the exact date.

However, thanks to the attention of a Reddit user, we now have a potential date – 6 December 2022.

This potential date comes from the release date for the official Hogwarts Legacy artbook and the hope that the game itself will be released alongside the artbook.

While not a certainty, there is some validity to this speculation as another of Hogwarts Legacy’s publishers, Warner Bros,  upcoming games is also getting an artbook.

The game is Gotham Knights, and both it and its artbook are slated to release on 25 October this year.

Given the Hogwarts Legacy artbook is set to release on 6 December, it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine the game releasing near or simultaneously.

Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming Fantasy RPG set in the Wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling and is being developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros.

In the fantasy game, players can create their character and explore a vibrant world while mastering magic, potions, and monsters and combating the evil machinations of those intent on spreading chaos.

Notable the game is set in the 1800s and will centre around the legendary Wizarding school Hogwarts as the player character will be a student at the establishment.

Hogwarts Legacy is expected to release at the end of the year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
