Activision has announced several new details for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
This included the release dates for the open betas for the upcoming game.
The first beta weekend will be for the PS4 and PS5 – those who pre-ordered the game or received Beta codes will be able to start playing from 16 September until 18 September.
From 18 September to 20 September, the beta will be available to all PlayStation players regardless of pre-order status.
The second beta will allow for crossplay for all console platforms and PCs.
Those who pre-ordered the game will be able to play from 22 September, while from 24 September to 26 September, the beta will be open to all players.
For Xbox players, Xbox Gold Live will be required to participate, while PC players will need either a Steam or Battle.net account.
There will also be a showcase of more information for the game on 15 September.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to release in October this year.
