Indie game 'Gibbage' free-to-play this weekend

6 August 2011

Award-winning indie studio Size Five Games, the minds behind controversial Sex Ed Shoot-‘em-Up ‘Privates‘ (the first game to ever take place inside a vagina) and point-and-click adventures ‘Ben There, Dan That!’ and ‘Time Gentlemen, Please!’ have released the first game they ever made for free, this weekend only.

Gibbage’s development was chronicled in now-dead magazine ‘PCZone’ and described by EDGE as “a winning formula of strong design, humour and glorious cartoon ultraviolence”.

“Gibbage is a 2D Deathmatch platformer,” said Dan Marshall, head of Size Five Games. “It’s kind of a cross between Unreal Tournament, Bomberman and Worms. It was really well received when it was made five years ago, but the indie scene has seen such a growth since then a lot of people will have missed it.”
