Win Battlefield 3 Limited Edition (PC) with WAGE

19 September 2011

Battlefield 3 is billed as one of the hottest multiplayer gaming titles for 2011. With series development veterans DICE at the helm, and based on their previous entries in the franchise, there is every reason to believe that Battlefield 3 is going to be their best yet.

The game boasts the Frostbite 2 3D engine, which enables highly detailed visuals and character animation, along with destructible environments which will be core to gameplay. We had our first taste of the potential of the Frostbite Engine with Bad Company 2, which remains a staple in many gaming diets.

While the compelling singleplayer story and cinematic gameplay is an enticing prospect, it’s the multiplayer component that will likely keep gamers coming back for more, again and again.

DICE claims that Battlefield 3 contains years-worth of progression unlocks. “Compared to Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 will have more than 10 times the hardware unlocks spread over weapons, weapons attachments, gadgets, and a huge unlock tree for vehicles alone,” said the developer.
