Batman: Arkham City PC release delayed

21 September 2011

If you’re a PC gamer, and you’ve been marking off the days on your calendar until 21 October with little bat signs, get ready to mark them off a bit longer.

Warner Bros has announced that, for some undisclosed reason that doubtless has everything to do with a console industry conspiracy and/or one of the Joker’s nefarious schemes, the PC version of the game has been delayed until an as yet unconfirmed date sometime in November. Vigilante justice will just have to wait.

In related news, Rocksteady has also confirmed that preorder bonuses – currently exclusive to different retailers – will be made available to everybody at some future date.

“The skins that are divvied out at the moment across various retailers and territories… the wording for all of those is if you pre-order here or here, you’re getting early access,” a Rocksteady representative told Shacknews.

Don’t expect to get them for free, though.
