Hey, remember when Batman: Arkham City was delayed for PC? And remember when it was delayed again? Oh man, you’re going to love this – it looks like it’s just been delayed again.

BT Games has been sending out SMSes to customers saying that Batman: Arkham City may only hit their shelves in December. We interrogated BT Games Operations Marketing Manager Karl Klöpfer who clarified the situation for us.
Klöpfer said that with SA distributor of Warner Bros. Interactive products, Nu Metro, not giving a firm date for the arrival of the game stock, BT Games is playing it safe by targeting Friday, 2 December 2011 for the release for the game.
While Nu Metro is optimistic that the game may hit our shores in time for a 25 November release, Klöpfer explained that BT Games does not want to disappoint their customers by promising a date on which they may not be able to deliver due to shipment delays. Should Nu Metro be able to release on 25 November, BT Games would fall in line with this date.
We contacted Nu Metro for comment regariding the status of the shipments, including the Collector’s Editions, but beyond the already available information that they are trying to get it all here in time for a 25 November launch, they did not provide feedback by the time of publication.

Article update: Nu Metro has responded to our earlier questions, stating that the delay is from the UK side, and is out of their control.
Nu Metro said that they are aiming to release on the 25th November, but have however informed retailers of a 2nd December street date in case of cargo issues arise during the busy festive season shipping period.
Collector’s editions are under strict allocation, and retailers have been informed on their allocation. Nu Metro said that they will keep all retailers in the loop if the stock arrives early enough to release on 25 November 2011.
