New SteelSeries gaming gear: SA pricing

Megarom Interactive, distributor of SteelSeries gaming gear in SA, has confirmed new keyboard and mouse products will be hitting SA by the end of March 2013. These include the SteelSeries Apex and Apex [RAW] keyboards, and the Sensei [RAW] frost blue mouse. Recommend pricing (RRP) has been indicated.

On top of an attractive design and interesting key layout, the SteelSeries Apex features 22 macro keys each capable of up to 4 macro layers.

SteelSeries ActiveZone back-lighting provides 5 independent colour zones. Each zone is capable of displaying 16.8 million colours.

An integrated USB hub, independent media keys, and a braided nylon cable round off the features.

SteelSeries Apex [RAW] – RRP: R999

The [RAW] products from SteelSeries provide stripped-down versions of the products. The Apex [RAW] keyboard features white back-lighting with 8 levels of intensity, and 17 macro keys capable of up to 2 layers.

SteelSeries Sensei [RAW] Frost Blue – R599

Again, the Sensei [RAW] is a stripped down version of the popular Sensei mouse. SteelSeries boasts “tournament-grade components, brilliant white illumination, 7 programmable buttons, gaming grade UPE material feet, and support of the SteelSeries Engine.”
