Hit the beach with Tropical Skyrim mod

13 March 2013

Skyrim has seen some pretty interesting mods lately, many doing wonders with the game’s visuals, but the latest “Tropical Skyrim” mod takes you away from all the chaos and gloom of Skyrim’s standard look.

The mod, made by Soolie, re-skins and adds tropical-inspired content to the game, such as the tundra area, which is now a desert which features sandstorms; or the coastal areas, which now have sandy beaches and shady palm trees.

The lighting has also been reworked to give a “hot and humid feel” to the game.

Soolie didn’t just fix up the environment though, as there are now pandas, jungle spiders, seals, tigers, apes and even raptors running around.
