We all know that Markus “Notch” Persson, the man behind Minecraft, has been hard at work on his next project Scrolls, but in the meantime the Swedish designer has just released the secretive new game, Drop.
The game takes a minimalist approach to its function, requiring players to quickly enter the letters which appear on screen, which spiral into a cube-like object. The letters can be submitted for points. The more mistakes you make, the faster it speeds up. The better you do, the faster it speeds up.
Notch said that the game was inspired by a geometric roof support and corner of a room, along with Super Hexagon and Fez.
You can play the game right now at the Drop game page, and remember to let us know what you think.
