Dota 2 breaks Steam record, again

Dota 2

Valve’s Dota 2 has broken its own record for the most concurrent users on Steam at any given time.

The fan-favourite game racked up a peak of 329,977 players on Saturday, 18 May 2013. During the weekend, the West Qualifier for the International tournament was also taking place, which would’ve helped with the numbers.

This is a pretty solid jump in statistics for Valve’s game. Dota 2’s original record was set in March, when the game managed to pull in 297,000 players.

Dota 2 previously took the record from Skyrim, which attracted 287,411 at its peak.
