Sega has announced the PC requirements for the upcoming war-strategy sequel, Total War: Rome II.
Here are the minimum specs required to get the game working on your PC:
- OS: XP/ Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8
- Processor: 2 GHz Intel Dual Core processor / 2.6 GHz Intel Single Core processor
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Graphics: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible card (shader model 3, vertex texture fetch support).
- DirectX: 9.0c
- Hard Drive: 35 GB HD space
- Screen Resolution: 1024×768
And here are the recommended specs for optimal performance:
- OS: Windows 7 / Windows 8
- Processor: 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor (or greater)
- Memory: 4GB RAM
- Graphics: 1024 MB DirectX 11 compatible graphics card.
- DirectX: 11
- Hard Drive: 35 GB HD space
- Screen Resolution: 1920×1080
Sega also announced that their upcoming sequel, Total War: Rome II, will be released worldwide on 3 September 2013, in both physical and digital formats.
The game is available for pre-order through the Sega store, with those who pre-order the game getting access to the Greek States Culture DLC Pack for free.
The sequel to the 2004 hit strategy game will aim to be the biggest and most expansive game in the series, with a “turn-based campaign and the largest, most cinematic real-time battles yet seen in any game.”
Total War: Rome II is one of the many PC exclusives coming out in 2013.
