After rumours of a port to the PC platform, Ubisoft has confirmed that its upcoming third-person action MMO, The Division, will be heading to the mouse-and-keyboard faction.
“I’m very pleased to announce [The Division] will be available on PC,” said executive producer Fredrik Rundqvist of Massive Entertainment.
“Massive Entertainment has its roots in PC development with titles like Ground Control and World in Conflict; you can be certain we will provide you with a first rate PC experience.”
The Division was one of the highlights of E3 2013, and is a new online open-world RPG for Xbox One, Ps4, and now PC.
The Division takes place in New York three weeks after a lethal virus, released on Black Friday, swept through the city. Players have to scavenge and fight for their lives in order to survive the now derelict city.
The game is scheduled for a late 2014 release.
