EA Origin offers 24-hour refund on games

20 August 2013

EA has announced a new policy called “Origin Great Game Guarantee”, which allows gamers to get a refund for their purchased game if they don’t enjoy it, but the policy is only effective within the first 24 hours of first playing it or within seven days of purchase.

“If something doesn’t work out—you aren’t riveted by the storyline, or sucked in by the action, or even just if the game doesn’t play well with your video card—we’ve got your back,” said EA.

“Requesting a refund is quick and easy. Just visit your order history and click the “request a refund” link next to your recent purchase, answer a few quick questions, and we’ll take it from there.”

The policy only applies to EA games purchased through Origin and not any other third-party service.
