StarCraft 2 “D-Day” revealed in Korean Advert

19 April 2010

Although Blizzard is well known for remaining tight lipped when it comes to release dates, it would appear that a Korean add campaign for the game may have let the cat out the bag.

A series of adverts currently running features the text “D-Day 2010.05.22” at the end. This date is in line with Blizzard’s promise to have the game out within the first half of the year.

It is purposefully made unclear exactly what “D-Day” refers to in the add campaign, and all the adds also feature Korean Air, which means that it may be to do with some sort of joint venture between Blizzard and the airline.
