Survival horror MMO Nether hits Steam Early Access

30 October 2013

Sandbox survival MMOFPS Nether is now in beta and available on Steam Early Access.

Nether is one of the more interesting games coming out this year and should appeal to those who are not even fans of the genre.

The game throws players into a derelict city and now-mutant wasteland.

The city has a huge degree of verticality, allowing players to climb buildings and use higher ground advantage over other players and the creatures that roam the game world.

The game looks very pretty for an MMO and features some really interesting player mechanics and atmospheric elements that highlight the tension of not knowing what’s just beyond the fog, and if another player is really your enemy or your ally.
