WoW: Cataclysm Beta opt-ins open

16 May 2010

Blizzard’s third expansion for its mega-hit MMO World of Warcraft is due out later this year.

Introducing two new races (Worgen for Alliance and Goblins for Horde) and a completely remade old world, as well as totally new zones and various other new content, the expansion promises to expand significantly on an already massive world.

Blizzard has announced that they are looking for beta participants, and all WoW players can opt-in now.

In order to do so, you will need to associate your WoW account to a Battle.net account. Once this has been done, there will be an option in Battle.net to opt-in to the beta. Once you have run the required system check, you will be entered. Blizzard will then choose select individuals to take part in the beta.
