Steam is at it again, running a massive sale across a wide variety of different games. Until July 4th a wide range of publisher catalogues are selling for up to 55% off. Furthermore, Steam is throwing random daily specials into the mix, and today you can get your hands on one of the most critically acclaimed MMOs out there, Eve Online, for less than the price of a cheap lunch.
For $1.99 (R15) you get the most recent version of Eve Online – Eve Online: Tyrannis. The purchase includes 30 days of subscription time, thereafter the game costs around R130 per month to play. It is however possible to buy subscription time using a type of in game currency.
Bear in mind that you will need to download the game via Steam, which will require about 1.5GB of bandwidth. The game will be available for this low price for today only.
