Combine zombies with one of the most popular FPS games on the planet and what do your get? Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies.
The free-to-play game based on the original elements of Counter-Strike – team vs team – heads into its open beta on 23 September 2014.
Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies is the western version of Korean game Counter-Strike Online 2, and is made by Nexon in collaboration with Valve.
As you will see in the video below, the Western port has maintained some decidedly Asian elements, like the skimpily-dresses Japanese girl who is a playable character.
The game features player vs player modes, as well as player vs environment modes. In Shelter Mode, for example, a team of survivors must build and defend a base from waves of zombies. Other modes include Beast Mode, Bazooka Mode and, Football Mode (sounds interesting).
Hard-core Counter-Strike fans do not despair, Bomb Defusal and Hostage Rescue are also included.
