Would you pay R300 for Batman: Arkham Asylum? About 40 million people [not really… – sub ed] a 92 aggregate on Metacritic, and the Guinness World Record for “Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever” can’t be wrong, of course, and that’s why Batman: Arkham City is in development. But if you’re one of those villainous people who didn’t buy the game for R300, now’s your chance for redemption – and on the cheap too, because the game’s going for a positively criminal $13.60 (about R90 or so) on Steam.
With a script penned by veteran Batman writer Paul Dini, and voiced by the cast of the DC Animated Universe series including Mark Hamill as The Joker, Batman: Arkham Asylum is pretty much the definitive Batman video game. It’s also Batman, which automatically makes it better than Spider-Man.
It’s the Game of the Year edition, so you get four extra Challenge maps bundled in for absolutely nothing. Seriously, if you don’t get this right now, Scarecrow’s going to haunt your dreams forever.
