If Microsoft’s plan to push their new OS, Windows 10, by automatically downloading it to your PC whether you like it or not annoyed you, then this is going to have you steaming.
According to Microsoft, though they’ve been avoiding it for some time now, a bug has resulted in Windows 10 “accidentally” installing on a number of users’ devices without their say so.
And should they notice Windows 10’s shenanigans, the OS would continuously attempt to install itself – because that’s not frustrating at all.

In fact, according to a report by Forbes, most users would only notice that the update had taken place when they restarted their PCs, only to be welcomed by a new operating system.
Many users have only recently opened their update history recently and discovered an absurd number of download attempts, all of which fail. Some users are unlucky enough because the update doesn’t fail.
It’s rather ironic to consider that those who suffered failed downloads of an update are the fortunate ones.
According to users suffering the apparent OS rebellion, in case you’re still concerned and vehemently searching your update history, the download barrage has gone quiet.
It’s not the first time something like this has happened, and Microsoft seems to have solved the issue, but they can’t be surprised at the negative feedback they’ve been receiving after incidents like this.
