Amazon France, it seems, may have been correct to list Rise of the Tomb Raider’s PC release as January 29th.
According to Rise of the Tomb Raider’s Steam page, the game is confirmed to launch on PCs in January of 2016, which isn’t all that far off.
It’s good news for us, having rather enjoyed the original release on Xbox One.
“Featuring epic, high-octane action moments set in the most beautiful hostile environments on earth, Rise of the Tomb Raider delivers a cinematic survival action adventure where you will join Lara Croft on her first tomb raiding expedition as she seeks to discover the secret of immortality,” says Steam.
Little else is mentioned on the Steam page, which means no hardware requirements for the moment, but expect this to be the best version of the game – it’ll play like the others, only smoother.
And we can’t wait to see what sorts of additional graphical effects we can make use of come January.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is expect to release for PS4 during Q4 of 2016.
