Via Steam News it has been announced that the Chaos parachute for Just Cause 2 is now available as a free downloadable add on. The stylish Chaos parachute was previously only available to Just Cause 2 Limited Edition purchasers.
The Chaos parachute makes no changes to gameplay but does add a cool looking skin to Rico’s standard black chute. Airborne assaults automatically look ten times cooler when using the Chaos parachute.
Just Cause 2 should automatically update the game with the Chaos parachute when players next launch the title via Steam.
The Chaos parachute is probably the least noteworthy DLC item to have been bundled with the limited edition, despite its good looks. The other items were far more practical, including Rico’s signature gun, the Bull’s Eye assault rifle, the Chevalier Classic vehicle and an Agency hovercraft. These items are all separately available on Steam for US$0.99 each (±R6.80).
Just Cause 2 was a significant step up from its predecessor and the PC version currently sits with a rating of 84/100 on Metacritic.
