Zelda gets browser-based game for its 30th birthday

6 April 2016

A fan-made, voxel-based tribute to The Legend of Zelda has surfaced on the internet.

The browser-based game is a celebration of the Nintendo classic’s 30th birthday which allows players to experience The Legend of Zelda in an almost-3D voxel-based world.

The game is playable on any device including desktops and mobile phones, and is the creation of US programmers Scott Lininger and Mike Magee.

The game is currently unfinished, but is still playable.

We don’t know how long the game will survive online, but for now you can check out Zelda’s fan-made birthday tribute here.
