Oddworld Oddboxx coming to Steam

7 December 2010

Experts agree that Oddworld’s Abe’s Oddysee and Abe’s Exoddus are probably the greatest games in the history of stuff. Both games have been available on Steam for some time already, but Oddworld Inhabitants has just announced that the two will shortly be joined by Munch’s Oddysee and Stranger’s Wrath, previously available only on the original Xbox, in a special Oddboxx collection.

Oddworld Inhabitants also recently announced that an HD remake of Stranger’s Wrath was in development for a PSN release – it’s not yet clear whether the Oddboxx collection version will be the original or this remake, nor indeed if Munch’s Oddysee will be going over to PSN too. It’s a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside a Sloggie.

No official launch date has been confirmed yet – just that it’s due “this holiday season” – nor pricing details, although the two Abe games are currently selling on Steam in a criminally reasonable $7.99 bundle.
