Indie phenomenon Stardew Valley has sold over a million copies, publisher Chucklefish Games told Polygon.

Stardew Valley is currently one of the best-selling games on Steam, and has been met with great reception by critics.

The developer of Stardew Valley is Eric Barone, who created the game by himself and published it through Chucklefish Games.

Barone has been working on Stardew Valley for years, as the game was in beta for a fair amount of time before its final release on Steam.

“It’s been really exciting for us to help bring this game to people’s attention, and the success really couldn’t have come to a more deserving person,” said Chucklefish Games.

Barone continues to provide updates and support for Stardew Valley and interfaces regularly with the game’s community.

The developer has not yet commented on Stardew Valley’s milestone, although he remains active on various social platforms under the title ConcernedApe.
