The Humble Indie Bundle 2 launches today

HumbleBundle.com is at it again, letting gamers decide what they want to pay for a bundle comprising of some indie treats.

The games in the Humble Bundle 2 are Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos and Revenge of the Titans. These are all great games, and bought separately they would cost around US$85.

Furthermore, they don’t use DRM, and they work on Mac, Windows and Linux.

All you have to do is head on over to HumbleBundle.com, where you can literally choose how much you want to pay for the bundle before purchasing it online. You can even choose exactly how your cash is divided between the game developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Child’s Play Charity.

Some interesting buyer statistics are available over on the site via a live counter. At the time of publication, the bundle had raised US$413,915, spread over 58,390 purchases. The average customer spent US$7.09.

Windows users are the stingiest, spending an average of US$5.91, while Mac users spent US$8.02, and Linux users spent US$13.67.

Spotted in the top 10 contributors list is Infinity Ward community manager fourzerotwo, who elected to spend $500 on the bundle.
