StarCraft II demo now available

22 December 2010

What’s that? You’re a PC gamer and you still don’t own StarCraft II? And you haven’t even tried it out using a friend’s free trial pass?

Well Blizzard has made a special plan for the seven of you, and released a free demo which you can download from Battle.net.

The demo is not yet available on the EU Battle.net, which is where you want to hang out if you live in SA. However, you can grab it from the US Battle.net link (see above) and play it without even creating a Battle.net account.

The demo unlocks the first three missions of the Terran campaign, and lets you play unlimited skirmish maps against the AI, which might be just enough to convince sceptics to take the plunge and buy the game.
