The South African pricing for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is insane

17 May 2016

The local pricing for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been announced, and it is much more expensive than previously expected.

The Deluxe Edition (the version that includes the Modern Warfare Remaster) currently clocks in at R1,899 for the digital console versions.

The Standard Edition of the game will release for R1,199 on both consoles.

These higher prices could be due to a number of reasons such as inflation and distribution costs, but it is interesting to note that the digital download pre-order pricing for Battlefield 1 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is currently R799.

These pre-order prices are all subject to change and may not reflect the final retail prices.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will release on 4 November 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
