Dota 2’s International prize money is absolutely insane

The amount of money up for grabs at this years “The International event” is astronomical.

The current prize pool sits at $10,381,445 (R156,606,174.11) at the time of writing, with that figure increasing daily.

This is calculated by adding 25% of all Battle Pass purchases, as well as miscellaneous sales related to the Battle Pass.

The International 2016 is set to take place from 8 – 13 August 2016 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, where teams will compete for what could end up being the biggest eSports prize in history.
