The Witcher 3’s popular card game, Gwent, will get its own standalone release.
This follows a trademark application for the title made to the European Union Intellectual Property office on 6 June.
It is expected that we will learn more about the upcoming title at the upcoming E3.
The Witcher 3’s final expansion, Blood and Wine, released on 31 May 2016 and introduced a number of mechanics to the Gwent system, including all of the card locations.
Do you think Gwent will hold up as its own property outside of the The Witcher 3? Let us know in the comments below and in our forum.
