A rumour has been doing the rounds that PC gamers would be treated to a Dragon Age II demo on 23 February. Happy news, if it were true. Gamers hoping for the best began speculating on the demo and how it would effect their Dragon Age II experience. Things soon began to spiral out of control.
BioWare has neither confirmed nor denied the rumour, and Dragon Age II lead writer David Gaider has weighed in to remind everyone of that fact.
“The demo is not “confirmed.” We have made no official announcement. This is speculation, and no matter what it’s based on it shouldn’t be so misleading. Regardless of what you think we should or shouldn’t be doing (it’s not my place to give info) please keep the fact that this is still all speculation in mind and that you’re self-referencing here.”
So, PC gamers can put away their Ser Isaac Clarke armour… for now.
