Microsoft have finally enabled the ability to hide your email address from the Windows 10 login screen.
This may not be a big deal for those of you on home PCs or who rarely power down, but it’s a security flaw when you’re out with a laptop or in a large office.
Arriving in the upcoming Anniversary update (or if you have access to any test or Windows insider builds), there is now an option to hide your email on the login screen.
To do so navigate to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
The option to display your email will then be the very last option under the Privacy category.
