Evetech’s R150,000 Counter-Strike Champions League kicks off today

Evetech recently unveiled its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Champions League, which features the 6 best CS:GO teams in South-Africa.

The competition will be broadcasted by navTV and will feature top South African Counter-Strike teams, including Bravado Gaming, eNergy eSports, Aperture Gaming, and Carbon Gaming.

The Evetech Champions League boasts a winner-takes-all grand prize of R150,000.

The tournament officially begins today, with the two open spots being decided by online qualifications matches.

Once all 6 finals teams are decided, they will compete for the cash prize in Centurion, Pretoria from 2-4 September 2016.

Online qualifiers will last until 15 August, at which point the winner and runner-up will move on to compete in the 6-team tournament.
