No Man’s Sky is set to release soon, and gamers all around the world are excited to experience the biggest video game ever created.
Boasting 18-quintillion procedurally-generated planets all present within a scale model of the universe, it makes sense that the game may be relatively taxing on your hardware.
The game’s system requirements have been available for a while now, and although they reflect the demands of modern gaming, they do not seem as high as expected.
The game relies on the PC’s hardware to generate the universe and planets, and will require a powerful processor, with four cores and a minimum clock speed of 2.8GHz.
The more powerful the processor, the smoother the experience with this type of spontaneously generated game.
No Man’s Sky also has high memory demands, with 8GB of RAM being the minimum amount of memory required to run the game.
Although we have seen that having over 4GB of memory does not really improve gaming performance, No Man’s Sky’s procedurally-generated universe may be the exception to the rule.
With regard to graphics, the game is surprisingly forgiving and will run perfectly fine on a GeForce GTX 960, meaning that it should perform well on any mid-range graphics card.
No Man’s Sky is set to release on 12 August 2016 for PC and 10 August for PlayStation 4.

Game looks good. I just hope it lives up to some of the Hype at least. Will wait for the reviews before any purchase, as you all should do with every game.
