Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gets HDR support on PS4 this week

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

One of the focal points of the PlayStation Meeting last month was HDR, or high dynamic range technology. While it was shown off primarily with regard to games running on the PS4 Pro, it’s actually something that all PS4s will soon be capable of.

Sony has recently released its 4.00 firmware update that introduced the new HDR support on all existing PS4s – even the standard PS4 model, and now the first game to utilise the improved visual tool is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The stealth-focused action game, has been given a new patch which enables HDR support on both PS4 and Xbox One S (which is still yet to launch in SA) along with the PS4 Pro. Obviously, you’ll still need a TV or screen capable of HDR to see the changes.

You can check out the full list of patch notes on the Square Enix forums.
