Why the PlayStation logo is now purple

Sony has officially changed the colour of its famous logo to Purple in order to show support for Spirit Day today.

Millions of people and companies wear purple on Spirit Day every year in a stand against bullying and to show their support for LGBTQ youth.

Spirit Day typically only lasts for the duration of 20 October, meaning the company will change back to its familiar black within the next couple of hours.
