Several complaints have begun to arise surrounding the PS4 Pro’s incompatibility with a wide range of TVs from multiple brands, reports Forbes.

Vizio further highlighted that the problem could be resolved by first running the PS4 in safe-mode although warned that this could result in data loss.

Forbes reached out to Samsung, who noted that the PS4 Pro was working with all of their 2016 televisions. They did not confirm whether the issues were present in the 2015 SUHD models.

If you plan to purchase a PS4 Pro now or any time in the near future, the best option may be to first check your TV’s model number to ensure that the device is fully compatible.
