PlayStation VR headset launches in South Africa

The PlayStation VR headset has officially launched in South Africa and is available to purchase from retailers.

Takealot confirmed the product is currently in stock in both Johannesburg and Cape Town and is available for R6,499 from its online store.

The PlayStation VR product includes the VR headset, processor unit, stereo earbuds, HDMI cable, USB cable, power supply, and PS VR headset connection adapter.

A PlayStation 4 Camera is required in order to provide head tracking support for the headset, and the device can be used with either a DualShock 4 controller or PlayStation Move motion controllers.

The PlayStation VR + PS4 Camera bundle is priced at R7,299 on Takelot.

A PlayStation 4 Camera is available for R899 from Raru.
