Sony had announced it is ending PlayStation Now support on all devices, except the PlayStation 4 and Windows PCs.

Support for the service will be changed from August 2017.

Below are the devices which will no longer be able to use the PlayStation Now service:

  • PlayStation 3
  • PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV
  • All 2013, 2014, 2015 Sony Bravia TV models
  • All Sony Blu-ray player models
  • All Samsung TV models

Users will only be able to stream games using the PlayStation Now service on either a PlayStation 4 or a Windows PC.

“After thoughtful consideration, we decided to shift our focus and resources to PS4 and Windows PC to further develop and improve the user experience on these two devices,” said Sony.

“This move puts us in the best position to grow the service even further.”
