The latest PS4 update is giving certain users an NW-31297-2 error, which means they cannot connect to their Wi-Fi network.

“I updated my PS4, and after the update it cannot connect to Wi-Fi . It comes up with error NW-31297-2 that my password might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the password is correct,” said one user.

Many others have reported they are also experiencing the same problem.

A Sony spokesperson told Engadget that the company is aware of the problem and is looking into the situation.

Without a fix, though, the statement from Sony did little to calm affected PS4 users.

“I have come home every day from work for the past couple of weeks and turn on my PS4 in the hopes of being able to do something,” said a user.

“But day by day, I am more disappointed because the problem hasn’t been fixed.”
