Sky, the successor to the acclaimed Journey, is coming to PlayStation

17 August 2022

In a blog post, Thatgamecompany announced that the game would be coming to PlayStation celebrating Sky’s third anniversary.

Sky is the successor to the acclaimed Journey, an artistic and enjoyable indie adventure game, first released in 2018 on iOS.

Since then, the game has also come to the Nintendo Switch, and now Thatgamecompany has confirmed that work has begun bringing the title to PlayStation.

Sky is a unique title that allows players to customise their characters as they interact with a strange and beautiful world – from gathering in serene vistas, flying high above the land, or dodging the dangers scattered throughout its areas.

Thatgamecompany has expressed its goal with Sky to bring the game to all possible players so that anyone and everyone can play together regardless of platform.

“Our goal throughout Sky’s development has been to expand the game so that players can gather in Sky no matter what platform they play on.”

There is currently no estimate of when the port will be finished.
