Original Resident Evil heads to PSN

25 May 2009

Capcom has announced that it will be releasing the original Resident Evil: Director’s Cut to PSN this Thursday May 28.
The aged classic will cost $10 (R85), which some spectators are saying is a lot to pay for a game that is 12 years old.

The game will be available for download to both PS3 and PSP owners.

The release is part of Sony’s new “PSOne” classics initiative, and titles to follow include Metal Gear Solid and Toms Clancy’s Rainbow Six. Sony has stated that it will be announcing more titles to be released uner the PSOne Classics banner in the future.
