22 June 2009

Easily one of the most memorable games currently in development, Fat Princess has been turning heads for some time now.

The games quirky humor and unique artistic direction make it one the stand out forthcoming attractions in the world of console gaming.

Previously due to arrive on PSN later this month, Titan Studios has announced that Fat Princess will arrive “later in the summer” (late July/early August).

Fat Princess puts players in a team of 16 cartoony heroes that must work together to rescue their fat princess from the opposing team’s castle. At the same time, players keep their opponents princess locked up in a castle of their own. Both teams must try and rescue their princess while at the same time preventing their opposing team from rescuing their own princess.

Players can feed their captured princess in order to make her heavier and therefore more difficult for their opposing team to rescue.

Players can choose from five different classes; the mage, priest, warrior, worker and ranger. Each class has its own abilities and weapons.

Apart from various online multiplayer modes, players will also be able to take part in a storymode as well as a survival mdoe called Gladiate.
