Sony has announced that the hugely anticipated Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has gone gold. This means that development on the game is finished and it is ready to be published.
The sequel to the massively successful Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be released mid way through October. Sony is promising that it will live up to the standard of the original. Among Thieves also promises to introduce new gameplay mechanics, including the opportunity to take the enemy on using stealth.
Early leaked gameplay footage shows off a very slick looking game, with improved climbing, swinging and general obstacle traversing.
Sony announced last week that a demo will be released for the game later this month.
