The console market is becoming more of a battle ground than ever with both Microsoft and Sony egging each other on to provide better pricing, larger hard drives and more competitive bundle packages.
Images have recently surfaced of a 250GB Uncharted 2 Sony PS3 Slim bundle. Additionally, rumours regarding Assassin’s Creed II and Grand Turismo 5 250GB PS3 Slim bundles, to be released in October have also been circulating the internet. These will allegedly retail for $499 (R3642)
These rumours may be Sony’s response to Microsoft’s recent announcement that it will be promoting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Forza 3 with limited edition 250GB Elite bundle packages set to retail at $399 (R2912).
So far Sony has vehemently denied these rumours, stating that no such bundle exists.
