Regular patent watchers Siliconera have spotted an interesting patent for a new handhold controller design from Sony.
The patent was filed in the US by Sony Computer Entertainment, and is simply refered to as a “hand held game controller”.
The curious design has many people guessing as to the nature of the device. Sony is planning to release a motion controller early in 2010, but it would seem that this new design is something different altogether.
