The official Uncharted 2 week one sales report is in. According to VGChartz 835,386 copies of the game were sold worldwide its launch week.
This makes it the fifth best launch week for a game ever on PS3. Another new release FIFA 10 also made its way into the top 5, selling around 885,000 units in its first week.
Uncharted 2 now sits behind FIFA 10, resident Evil 5, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV, which sold a ridiculous 2,547,973 units in its first week on PS3 alone.
Uncharted 2 has scored very highly with all review sites, and according to Metacritic it is the highest rated game of 2009 so far, sitting on a score of 96. Incedentally, this is the same score that we awarded the game in our review.
